About
Gavin Tollman is a noted entrepreneur and global travel and tourism professional. He is best recognized for his long affiliation with Trafalgar Tours, a prominent world travel organization where he is CEO. Amongst his many activities, Gavin chairs the prestigious South African-based TTC, a branch of The Travel Corporation, an international organization dedicated to tailored travel programs. Gavin Tollman graduated from The American University where he studied Finance. He also holds a CTC certification which recognizing him as a Certified Travel Counselor. Born in South Africa in 1963, Tollman manages his business activities from Geneva, Switzerland.
Business Success
Gavin Tollman began his professional career in the hospitality trade, where in 1987 he was a vice president of the US-based Buckhead Hotel Management Co. Gavin's career as a hotelier expanded when he became president of the Red Carnation Hotels chain. A decade later, he served as company president of Trafalgar Tours USA. During his time at Trafalgar Tours USA, Gavin successfully transformed the company into the nation's leading destination touring company for Europe. Last year, Gavin Tollman was recognized for his work in the world of global tours and travel and was promoted to Chief Executive Officer of Trafalgar Tours. Founded in the mid 1940's, Trafalgar Tours today employs over 500 people worldwide and is dedicated to providing clients with uniquely tailored travel packages. Trafalgar Tours destinations include the UK, Europe, Eastern Mediterranean, South America, USA and Canada. Trafalgar Tours' widespread popularity and noted reputation are the result of Tollman's vision and commitment. He branded and marketed Trafalgar Tours' products as being both "aspirational and insider" -- referring to the company's ability to provide its clients with a truly unique travel experience. Privately-owned, TTC has more than two dozen daughter companies around the globe, handles one million clients every year, and proudly manages more than forty international offices with a staff of over 4000 employees.
TTC Promotes a New South Africa
As part of a recent partnership, TTC has joined forces with South African Tourism (SAT), in an effort to enhance travel and tourism in the region. This exciting new project called "Destination Africa" is part of TTC and Tollman's own personal commitment to supporting the beauty and splendor of his homeland. To that end, TTC is also committed to building a stronger South Africa and has joined forces with local charities and organizations. At a recently-held international TTC event, company employees convened in South Africa to increase global awareness in the region and support local charities such as "Project Wendy House". As part of the project, TTC helped build a neighborhood of new homes for underprivileged families.
